International Dinner

This event is a potluck dinner hosted by the Parents' Association in the fall. The purpose is to bring the CDS families together to share traditional dishes. Students present a fashion and talent show with an international flair.

Tailgate Party

The Parent Council organizes a huge tailgate party in the Upper Field for Preschool-4th grade CDS students and their parents. Costumes are a must for all children. The parents create a circle with their cars and pass out candy as the students parade around the field. A bonfire is lit at dusk and glow sticks are provided for all. All students must be accompanied by a parent.

Bingo Nights

These fun evenings are for the entire family. There are two scheduled each year. The first, in December, Santa visits the children and the other, in the Spring, the Easter Bunny hops in for a visit.

Enjoy dinner, sodas, popcorn and baked goods and win donated prizes!

Book Fair

Students visit the Book Fair during school hours and parents are invited before and after school to purchase books. It is held in the school library and is a great pre-holiday shopping opportunity.

Wrapping Paper Fundraiser

The Parents' Council organizes, orders and distributes the sale of wrapping paper as the largest fundraiser for the year. Each family receives a packet and is asked to sell wrapping paper to friends and family.
