Manuscript from Original Martin Luther King Song Donated to CDS
Ms. Catalina Sevilla-George has generously donated the manuscript of the original paper where she wrote down the song to the school. She has given permission to Country Day School to sing it every January in grades 3-6. Because there are very few MLK songs being written and none that are in the music books at our school, Ms. Sevilla-

Ms. Sevilla-Georgecommented that the students have been very receptive to her song and she appreciates how well they interpreted the feeling in the song. She even had a dynamic student conductor, Sophie Dean and a phenomenal drummer, KJ Lewis, who discovered the perfect beat to the song all by himself!
