The
entire Spanish Department came together for a spectacular
program that included dance, music, drama and puppetry.
Handmade pinatas hung from the rafters and everywhere
you looked there were the colors of the hispanic nations.
Spectators were treated to a puppet show depicting the
events of Cinco de Mayo. Spanish language skits and music
were performed. One of the highlights of the show was
an original rap song performed by a group in Spanish III.
A lavish feast of burritos, fajitas, tacos and authenic
hispanic desserts were served to finish off the ceremony.
