Characteristics

My diagram was made in a shoe box. My trees were made out of Styrofoam, the animals out of paper, and the ground was made out of dirt and tape. I colored the trees brown and green with marker and I poured dirt on top of tape to make the ground. The animals I put in my diagram were a toucan, a green tree frog, an agouti, and an emerald tree boa. It was really hard to keep the trees from falling down.

My biome was the Tropical Rain Forest. The Tropical Rain Forest is located in the Amazon River basin, Central Africa, southern Asia Hawaii, and bits of Australia. The rainfall ranges from 200 to 460 per rear and the average-temperature is 80 degrees F. There are average 400,000 types of plants. There are 4 layers in the Tropical Rain Forest. There is the Forest Floor, the Under-story, the Canopy, and the Emergent layer. I wrote about animals and plants. My feature animal was the agouti. The agouti kind of looked like a tailless rat.
