Noun - a person, place or thing. It is the object of the verb or what is doing the action.
Person, place, thing, name - each of these are self explanatory. Just remember if it is a noun try not to give any of these.
Plural noun - the version of the word that indicates more than one of the noun. Example: singular car becomes plural cars by adding s; singular box becomes boxes by adding es. Remember most words can have an s or es added to make its plural, but not all.
Noun vs. Person/Place/Thing/Name -
In MadLibs, a noun is generally very basic, i.e. spoon, chair, camera, etc.
and it is not usually a person or a place. While the noun can be a person (i.e.
waiter, mom, pilot, etc.) or place (i.e. ,
Verb - an action in the present tense.
Past tense verb - a verb whose action has already occured in the past. Present tense verb, hammer (I hammer at work.) Past tense verb, hammered (I hammered the roof yesterday.)
Adjective - a descriptive word that comes before a noun. Ie. red, tall, small (the red car, the tall car, the small car.)
