September-December

_____ Take the P-ACT+ or the PSAT in October, if advised to do so.

_____ Visit the guidance office to find out about college representatives visiting your school, college en- trance tests, and career information.

_____ Encourage your parents to attend back-to-school night so they will become familiar with your class schedule, teachers, and school.

_____ Begin to concentrate on a few extracurricular activities.

_____ Begin to consider possible careers.

_____ Follow your reading program to continue developing your vocabulary.

January
