_____ Study college catalogs and guidebooks.

_____ Attend class meeting to learn about the October PSAT.

_____ Attend college representative meetings to learn more about colleges you are considering.

_____ Find out what information your school has about colleges.

_____ Obtain a social security number as you will need it for college and financial aid applications.

October

_____ Take the PSAT.

_____ Encourage your parents to attend back-to-school night so they will become familiar with your class schedule, teachers, and school.
